Yes, I am going off today. I have worked and worked on my frames pages,
and my JS on each one. As a matter of fact, I went to frames to preserve the
scripting and feel of the pages, and put much time and effort into them, have
not done a lot with the graphical content, thank the lord!
Last night, I loaded NS 6 onto the hard drive, and powered it up, as
my associate told me he was not seeing the frames, not the scripting, and the
graphics are messed up. Not to say I did not expect some probs, but when I
went in, and saw none of the scripting, and no frames, and the JAva Console
was not even working, yet no JS error at bottom, I was floored! NS4.7 did
not do this, and IE5 is doing great with it.
All scripts are written for bot NS4+and IE4+ and worked on both until
now.
Netscape6 also has longer load time on pages, 18.7 sec for a page
that on NS4.7 and IE 5 was 8 secs.
It also breaks up ANY seamed graphics you may have, loading them
slowly.
HOwever, since I am having to work with this nightmare, any helpful
suggestions appreciated. Just do not get me going on Gates, Microsoft and
Netscape. I have had my tirade. Sorry. Lisa
