what to do about frames

What is one supposed to do about having a search engine that points to one
of many pages, but I have a navigate bar in my first frame that points to
that one page of many???  How do you make sure a visitor knows about this
nav-bar to retrieve the other numerous pages?  (Hope this makes sense.)
