Hiya Folks:
Sherill asked:

You can start here:
http://www.webreview.com/wr/pub/98/02/06/webmaster/editorial.html
They write:
"A solid QA cycle for a Web site will include the checking of editorial
matters, and a solid Web team will include a qualified person whose job it is
to check copy for errors and adherence to the style guide -- a copy editor.
The copy editor need not be on staff -- many copy editors work freelance --
but he or she should be someone who has been trained to know and use the
tools of copy editing. Editors at book publishers, magazines, and newspapers
refer to The Chicago Manual of Style (a.k.a. "Chicago") or The Associated
Press Style Guide ("AP") to check particularities of grammar, punctuation,
capitalization, and usage; their favorite dictionaries reveal answers to
questions of spelling and pronunciation."
Hope this helps....
