Advertising Prices

 I am looking to approach individual companies to place advertising banners 
on my new site. Can anybody tell me how to approach this, ie, pricing, 
contracts, payment methods. I am new to the business advertising end. I have 
advertisers already, but need an approach, and some ideas from you 
experienced folks!  Thanks!  It seems to be a big secret noone wants to share 
in the industry I am dealing with online!  Lisa
