I need some edjumicashun..

I have a client.. who wants to do two things that i have not quite learned 
yet.. and I need some help...

One.. he wants a Guestbook.. how do i program that with HTML?  Does it use a 
mailto function?  If not where does the information go?  He will want name 
address phone# etc....to be submitted...  suggestions?

Two..  He also wants an e-commerce application eventually... with CC...  ((i 
know this is WAY over my head at this point.... but for future reference.. 
its also part of phase 2 of his site))  

Three...  He wants a email group set up for newsletters etc...  how does that 
get set up?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!  I cant find any info on setting these up.  Ive viewed 
sources on other pages.. and it doesnt seem to make any sense.   Anyhelp you 
can give would be great!
