Okay, I have had several querys on this so I will do a public reply!
There is the "Sam's Teach Yourself Series" which is a series of 24 hour
(one hour per lesson per day) totalling 24 days working with the book and
Online examples that go with it. Also many come with CDs for reference! They
probably will NOT replace GOOD HTML course, but they will help you to learn
the rudimentary skills, and direct you to more self help sites! They are
Java, DHTML, HTML, C++, There aaare many more, they cost anywhere from
$24-$39. IOn the back they will give a "User Level" Beginner, Intemediate and
advanced! Mine are worn out from reference, and were well worth the price!
Amazon carries them and also Media Plaaay! They are cheaper at Amazon!
Also ZDNet offers a great Developers program, and Webmonkey a "Cheat Sheet"
for HTML and DHTML, and also Java.
Dynamic Drive.com offers free scripts, and Forums for new users and
students, They are a great source of support when working with Java, or if
you need code help.
Hope this helps! Lisa
