trying to validate

Hi Folks,
I'm back. I'm trying to valodate with 4.0

Guess that makes me a beginner again!
Here is the first problem:
   ... mages/VBS/tour10.jpg" ALT="vbs children" WIDTH=378"
HEIGHT="252"></cen ...
                                                              ^

      Error: an attribute specification must start with a name or name token


What do I have to include with each image I put on my page?
