Hello everyone
I am making a site which includes several sets of different top and bottom
frames - features, events, links, etc - each with the top frame static and
the bottom one scrolling.
Which target name do I use so that when someone follows a link from one
frameset to another, the second frameset opens up full page yet not in a
new window? I know this is a very basic thing but having tried all manner
of things I am now totally confused and have windows spilling out all over
the place. Also, do earlier versions of browsers handle this differently?
I believe there is a way of doing the whole thing with JavaScript (ie
calling a different page up into each each frame at the same time - the
dimensions are all the same) but I couldn't get it to work when I followed
the instructions in an online tutorial.
Please reply personally to me as I get the digest version of the list.
Thank you.
