If you save a WP file if RTF format, the formatting stays pretty good ( or =
at least it has for the items I have had to transfer). I was told to =
change these types of files into PDF ( haven't yet, though) and that this =
would work also.=20

Hello Friends:
It was asked:

thing as

Just went through something very similar - couldn't open up the WordPerfect=
=20
files in any program I had. Ending up asking them to resave the documents =
in=20
MS Word format.
I believe WordPerfect possibly offers the option to save in plain text =
and=20
HTML. The formatting will be lost but at least you'll have the content.
You can also ask them to copy and paste the content into an email to =
save=20
some time. Again, no formatting, but you'll have the body content.
Hope this helps.
