Doing Business Under Your Own Name?

Hi all :)

I may have gotten this backwards, but I have been doing web
sites and subcontracting work before I have made my own
website ;)

I have to get something up, and the quickest way I can do in
IMO is to just do business under my own name for now. To all
of you that have done this, do you wish you had started out
with a "company name"? I am under the assumption that you
don't have to file any paperwork with the state to do
business under your own name..am I right?  I imagine all
states are different, anyone in Ohio? Any input would be
welcome on this topic..

..oh, and include your url to your website, I could use some
direction on info to include.  My website will probably be
geared towards customers looking for web design services,
and for outsourcers looking to hire subcontractors.
