Hi,
Put a deliverables due by date somewhere in your contract. We point out
to the client that due to the nature of our business, we can not wait
and exorbitant amount of time for the "deliverables" on any given
project. Along with this due date, we make it quite clear that if for
any reason the client misses the dude date, we are entitled to final
payment. This usually keeps them on track and of course you can exercise
your right to final payment at your discretion. I have been known to let
it slide on occasion.
