All else aside ... giving your permission to be used in a stock photo or
selling the rights to someone who subsequently uses your image as a stock
photo does not imply that you are giving the right or permission for someone
else to "assume" your identity.

I am not a lawyer and I am definitely not offering a legal opinion, but I
have a strong feeling that if the family in the photo ever found out you had
assumed their identity you may be sniffing some legal bills in the wind.

May be Ivan has an opinion on this ...
