You will need some sort of server-side programming language.  You can
use a cgi script (most often written in the language PERL), or you can
use the programming languages of PHP,ColdFusion,ASP (these are the most
popular).  These languages are/would be installed on the web server,
although you only need one.

Hi,

I have a web client that would like to set up a horse classifieds page
and I'm not sure what kind of software I will need to do this so the
person placing the ad can input all data themselves. Can someone advise
me on this please?
