Unscrupulous web designersby "Andrew Frain" <andrew(at)afrain.freeserve.co.uk> |

In response to Ben Ocean: What to do about unscrupulous web masters...? Make the situation work for you.. This is what I did. I made up a comprehensive list of all the offenders I could. I kept these in a file to show to prospective clients when needed. Especially good if you are in competition with the offender:-) Secondly I got masses of free publicity from sending press releases to the local media about the practices of unscrupulous web developers. My local evening newspaper ran an article about how not to be ripped off when starting a web site. I was quoted and got business as a direct result This did not make me popular with some people as you can imagine. But what do I care? It struck a blow against the rip off merchants and got me more business. Is this something you could consider implementing? Hope this helps Andy ****************************************************************** Sell Websites to Businesses Like Wildfire Obtain substantially more web site clients with less effort Proven strategies in today's highly competitive market place Including how to eliminate competitors in your area www.sellmoresites.com andy(at)sellmoresites.com Tel: 44(0) 700 590 5109 Fax: 44(0) 700 590 5109 ******************************************************************
