More e-commerce Questions...

First of all, thanks to those that have already replied to me regarding my
last post.

By the way, for any others that may respond, I will be away until next
Thursday, so I won't be able to reply until then.

In case I run into trouble not being able to figure out how to do what I
need to do for my client, I figure I should through these questions out
there so I know where to go:

Is "punchout" a common term?  Are any of you familiar with using cXML to do
"punchout"?  Have any of you done this to integrate any of your clients with
The Ariba Network ( www.ariba.com )?

If so, can you throw me any tips, info, or links that you've found helpful,
keeping in mind I've never done any e-commerce type stuff at all, just plain
jane HTML.
