I'm searching for wholesale hosting companies.  I've looked at a lot of
hosting sites, and I have a feeling that the majority of them are resellers.

I design web sites and resell hosting to my web design clients.  To me,
reselling hosting from a reseller is kind-of like buying retail to sell
retail.  I would prefer to buy wholesale and sell retail. What is the best
way to tell whether a company is a reseller (retail) or physically manages
their own servers and cables?  (Looking at their DNS via whois is not
necessarily revealing.)

If you know of any wholesale hosting companies, would you be kind enough to
send me their names?  Or direct me to a web site that has a list of
wholesale hosting companies? (Companies who physically manage their
servers/cables.)
