Why wouldn't this be legal? The last Microsoft program I bought insisted

register the program and provide them with my name, address, life
history
and blood type, or the thing would cease to function in 75 days... or
some
such nonsense.  If they are determined not to pay for the code, they'll
have
to hire someone to hack it and undo the self-destruct. Probably easier,
and
cheaper, to simply pay for the code!
