As one of those "guilty" of posting after Judith asked us to stop, let me
explain how this, and many other threads, work...

On the HWG lists, quite frequently, due to server load or other factors,
many posts are delayed by up to three hours from the time the post is sent
to the time it shows up on the list. That's the FIRST factor in why there
were posts after Judith said to stop.

Many people (myself included) tend to respond when an email is first read,
despite there being any number of additional emails still waiting to be read
below it. That was my case... I didn't read (or see) the post saying to stop
until AFTER making my response. But, as more people read the posts and see
the STOP order, the thread WILL die... it just takes a few hours or so for
that to happen...
