All of my domains are on NT servers, and thus use iMail. However, I guess
I'm not understanding what it is your customer is wanting. iMail
administration can be acheived via the :8181 interface to the mailserver,
or, to a limited degree, via the :8383 interface. Add-on interfaces to
iMail, such as the KillerWebMail interface, make the :8383 interface
substantially more powerful, but they are basically just a method of
"skinning" the iMail interface.

iMail is an application, a service that runs on the NT server. While you can
patch certain pages into the interface to give it a new look, the
behind-the-scenes functionality is pretty much controlled by iMail's program
DLLs. So, to my knowledge, I don't believe there's really any EASY way to
capture account modifications such as adding new POP3/IMAP accounts or
Aliases. I would recommend checking the iMail manual available as a PDF
download from www.ipswitch.com (the makers of iMail).

Of course, the above ASSUMES I understood what it is your client is wanting.
