Hello Business List:
I have a small hobby site which I have created. It "hosts" (lists) virtual
portfolios for an international network of photographers. People can browse
photo galleries and submit a link for publication (inclusion) in the
directory. I am presently receiving about 1200-1500 hits per month. Not a
huge site, but with some interest. I have created a personal domain name
(see below), and have put other sites on the domain (personal). I am
looking for some good reference material on how to make (re-coup) money on
a site like this!
Now I do work for a small design and marketing firm who have created about
20 sites over the last year. Most of our site are informational, and do not
desire advertising (banner style - other marketing elements are there.)
Being somewhat new to this I was wondering what experiences others have had
in this, or advice to offer.
Is there minimum size of site, minimum number of hits that are required,
... anything?
Sorry for being some new at this ... just want to research this, and learn
more about what makes it all work. Thanks in advance for your help in all
this.
