Identity theft

I have just received a bunch of undeliverable messages "returned"
to me: Some spammer used one of my email addresses in the "from"
field.

The spam contained "Call 800-395-7379 to order by credit card."
I tried to call the number and give the spammer a piece of my mind,
but got an "I'm sorry, there is no room to leave your message".

My question is, what can I do about this?

I feel so vioalted!
