Hi Jay,
No hassle at all, .. as long as you have control of the DNS server. You do, don't you? All you have to do is change the IPs of your root DNS servers on all the domains, .. and leave up the old sites for a few days until the change propagates (probably a week outside). The move would be transparent to any user/client.

Have you ever considered hosting your own sites? We started that here - there are a few hassles with setting up sufficient UPS and environment, .. but the delta cost per site makes it pretty reasonable. *AND* if there's a problem with one of the server, .. I can reach out and touch it <g>.
