cheap domain registration

Greetings!

Do any of your have any experience with any of the domain registration 
services that offer a much lower rate for registration? I've seen some with 
$35 for the first two years, and just found another for $30. Are these 
services reliable? Are there any advantages/disadvantages to using one of 
them as opposed to InterNic? Seems like things that sound too good to be true 
usually are.........
