Internet Security sources?

Hello guys,

I have to do some research for a report to a University in the local area 
(England), focusing on Internet security, in particular

1. Existing problems with security over the Internet
2. The impressions of the users and their general opinions
3. Present tools available for improving security on the Internet
4. Safety measures which can be taken.
5. Not tools - but simply ways that a sites securtiy can be perseived by the 
user to be safe??

Are there any sites that refer to such subjects in ANY form whatsoever?
If anyone can put me in the right direction I would be most grateful!!
