What spotlight effect? I did not see it.

Green and Blue are not complementary but I would have to say
they don't look to bad together here.

I first looked at this with NN4.0 and had a problem because the
links side had no scroll bar and I could not see the bottom link without
changing the size of window. I then looked at it with IE 4.0 and it has the
same problem. But it also had a problem in the main image was
in 4 parts displayed vertically. So I would say you have some problems here.

Viewed on an iMac

I did not look at anything esle but the image is not as bad as you make it
out to be.
