RE: Kindly Critiqueby "Ben Stewart" <benstewart(at)usa.net> |

kahlil, Hi! Well, I took a look at the page you made for your personal homepage client, and I'm happy to say that I was pleased in most aspects... As a middle-of-the-way'er in HTML design, I'm definitely not a top critiquer, however, I just have some small comments on the site. First of all, when I first loaded the page, it went quite quickly on a 28.8 connection on 74/mhz pentium, Netscape Comm. 4.0 However, the title of the page which includes the page owner's name is somewhat hard to read. The effect you were trying to get with this blurring is great, but I couldn't read the client's name (the first word in the title graphic). Otherwise, the graphic titles throughout the site are wonderful. Don't change the blurring, simply see if there would be a way possible to make her name more understandable. Also, the navigational bar at the bottom of every page is somewhat pixelized. This is not very noticeable, but it just isn't completely smooth, which is the feeling I get from the site overall. This site will definitely turn out to be functional yet simple and enjoyable to visit without getting clogged without too much information. Your weaving of graphics and atmosphere is excellent, and I commend you on a good site in my opinion! Ben Stewart benstewart(at)usa.net http://home.earthlink.net/~stewartb
