Site Check

I've lurked about here for a little while now, and feel pretty comfortably
asking if some of you would please check out my site.  It's my first
attempt, and I taught myself HTML out of a book, so I'm sure there's some
problems there.  In fact, I can't get it to validate because it wants me to
specify the type of JavaScript I used.

On the concept side, the friend of mine I did it for wanted it to simulate
the experience of being in an actual art gallery - so I tried to keep any
text as unobtrusive as possible.  Used Ulead's Web Razor to make the images
as small as I could, but I couldn't sacrifice too much quality on an art
site.  I also realize that the midis slow things down some, but my
instructions were to, "Make it fun, and don't let it look like a brochure."

Thanks to any of you who might offer your opinion, and please remember -
this is my first try...
