We recently completed a web site at http://www.hrb.net that is shopping
enabled with the primary purpose of selling essential oil blends (natural
health and beauty products).

I would sincerely appreciate any feedback anyone here can offer regarding
site useability- Some questions I'd love to see answered would be:

-Is the site's purpose clearly defined?
-Was the shopping area easy to reach and did the shopping interface make
sense?
-If you have a chance to add some items to your cart, feel free to make a
fake purchase, the credit card number verification system is not in place,
you can just use a fake set of numbers 1111-1111-1111 or something and let
me know if you felt the order process was simple and easy to use.

You cannot run the pages through a validator since they are dynamically
generated and use codes for the shopping software that won't validate, but
if anyone notices any errors please do point them out.

Thanks in advance!

P.S. One of the products Carpal Tunnel Syndrome seems well suited to those
of us using computers frequently. The client had suggested we might try
offering an affiliate program so that webmasters and designers could put a
link on their site and any purchase (even for other products) made from that
link would then be tracked back to the referrer and a fee paid (the
amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com models).

I'd love to know in advance if anyone on this list thinks that is a good
idea and if so, what type of compensation should the client offer? They
were thinking between 10 and 20% of all products sold?

Thanks again.
