Hi Mike:
I feel for you on the "uniformity" guidelines some clients set for us. It's
frustrating sometimes when you know you have a good design but can't go
through with it 100% due to your client's "guidelines." It's too bad they
won't allow you to negotiate on the look of some of the graphics.
The biggest drawback I immediately noticed was the amount of time it took to
download the initial page. The graphics on the navbar need to be
compressed a bit. It might be possible to get them down to around 2 or 3k
each, which would help enormously.
Secondly, when I clicked on anything from the navbar, the bar disappeared.
I think it would be an improvement to keep the navbar on all pages.
Take care,
Mike
