Hi Tenley. I like the layout, somewhat, but I have a big problem with your
editor or maybe your method of putting this together. Instead of using
absolute positioning or, even, tables to position objects, you've used some
vspace and a whole lot of hspace. I had to look for why I got a horizontal
scroll at 800x600, and I couldn't find it in the table widths, so I looked
to see if you had too many images side by side. I was finally surprised to
see it in the hspace and even in the 20 pixels of space defined around the P
tag in the style sheet.

For example images/logoadd.gif has 110 pixels of hspacing. That's 220 pixels
of width plus the image width of 308 pixels for a total of 528 pixels of
width of that one image. Now, the cell to the left of that has an image with
a width of 102 plus a hspace of 20 for a combined width of 142 pixels. Add
that to the 528 pixels we have and, as you can see that makes 670.

Now, two rows down and defining the width of the right column we have
images/hospcolr.jpg with a width of 250 pixels. That gives us 920 pixels of
width makeing the page pretty much useless to 65% of the web visitors
because people generally leave sites with a horizontal scroll bar.

I don't know how this happened, but I would assume that you are using
1024x768 in your machine when you designed this and used an editor with a
drag and drop design layout feature. If a Web tool did it this way, then I'd
drop that tool. Maybe others design this way with all those huge hspaces and
P tag spaces, but I've never quite seen it to this extreme. I don't even
think stuff like Front Page would do it this way. If I'm totally off base,
I'd be interested in others who do it this way. Maybe I'm the one missing
the boat. *grin*

Anyway, to close this up, I think you should get the overall width down to
760 pixels so that 800x600 folks can see the site without side-scrolling.
Horizontal scroll bars should be avoided at all costs.
