Very creative and colorful.  The first site with what looks like a
magnifying glass at first glance, why do the links stay red even though I
have moved on to rest my mouse over a different link.  The initial link I
rested on eventually goes back to black but why does it take so long.  I
have seen this happen elsewhere as well.

Looks like you've got a lot of creative talent.  Good luck.  BTW, what are:
