Hi,
I critiqued with Netscape 4.08, 800x600, w95
Ok here are my first impressions,
Splash Page
I personally don't care for splash pages unless they are really inviting.
They have to be something to tempt the user to continue. I'd actually start
your page on the main page so that the viewer is right in the middle of
things and more tempted to find out more
I really liked the photo on the main page
Once I got to the main page I thought the heading was misleading. When I
got to the splash page and saw cross training .. I figured you were a
fitness instructer or something, but then I got to the main page and found
out your provide hairdressing services. Maybe you should think about a
different title?
I agree with the last reviewer on the Comic Sans .. not because it doesn't
seem to fit the theme of the site, but because its soo overused on the web
.. I'm sure every person who creates their first web site uses comic sans!
I thought the rollovers where a little hard to read when you rolled over
them .. maybe you could just have the ball?
I lot of the fonts seemed too large on my machine, maybe you could reduce
them down a notch ..
I also thought the feedback form was too large ... this wouldn't fit on a
640x480 monitor .. a simple solution is to make the fonts and the input
boxes smaller.
I also agree with the previous reviewer that a little more colour could
really boost this site.
Hope I've helped
