NOTE: I have redirected this to the techniques list on my own initiative. I strongly suggest this discussion be continued there. A copy of this has also been sent to the critique list as notification of the redirect. That is only true if the <A> includes an href attribute. Only links are underlined, not all anchors. And in her case, links are not underlined, since she uses stylesheets to override that behavior. Ben Z.
