student seeking critique

G'day all,
As part of our HTML II class, I need to submit the following site for your
input:
http://www.soltran.com.au/html2/index.htm

The pages that I am concerned with are the index (as above), the contact and
about pages. If anyone knows how to get my navigation table which is nested
inside another larger table to align to the top of it's cell and *still*
achieve strict validation, could you please let me know.

I guess that's about it, and feel free to be blunt. *grin*
