Wordpad Problem

A questionnaire was first done in Notepad. When additional questions were
added, the memory in Notepad was exceeded. The file was then copied and
pasted into Wordpad and saved as an HTML file. The problem is that when the
file opens, there are rows and rows of * \par \par \par * that appear above
the first table. When the HTML document is opened, none of the * \par \par
\par * rows appear above the table...
Any suggestions for what might be the problem and remedy? See
