A small photographic site

Hello members,

I've just finished some pages presenting the work of my brother as
photograph.
(It's my first attempt in Web design).
The url is http://leonardoonetti.hypermart.net/
Please note text is in italian. Howewer this should not be a problem as
navigation is intuitive (I think).

Any impression &/or suggestion will be appreciated.
Expecially I would like to hear from you:
1) What about the graphical impact of the whole?
2) The quality and DL time of images?
3) There are some little javascript around, do they work properly?
