Critique of Proposed Web Design and Hosting Siteby "Phillip M. Strickland" <pstrickland(at)coastalnet.com> |

Season's Greeting fellow HWG members. I have put together a proposed site for a web design and hosting company that I plan to start. Not as a means of living off of the income, but as a means of gaining further experience in the design of web sites and marketing them. For now I have loaded the pages on my ISP's server for critique purposes. I plan to move them to another host's server later this week. I will also have my own domain. I would like for you to check the general feel of the site. Is it too boring? I tried to make it straight to the point and without a bunch of graphics. I plan to re-design the splash page often incorporating other ideas into the site, but just want to get it up and running for now. Anyone got any suggestions for a banner on the splash page, the one there is just a generic one? The "Client", "Personal", "Portfolio", "Rates" and "Links" pages aren't complete but the others are. Let me know how it looks and any suggestions you may have. Thanks in advance for your time!
