I will tell you my computer set up, but that will not solve the problem.
I have a Gateway 2000 p5-90, with 800x600, 16bit color.

Now the problem is not the computer, as ANY computer or monitor can be
adjusted to make the site be readable.  However, why should you, the
designer, be making the user reset their settings?

The problem is quite simply, at least on the first framed page, that the
text in the nav.html has a background of 34,34,34 (decimal) and a font
of 153,153,153 (decimal).  That just is not enough contrast.  Period.

I, as a user, am not going to reset my monitor settings just for your
site.  I have them at a very moderate level, about in the middle in the
spectrum.  In fact, I would not be surprised if they were factory
default.
