Great idea, and fun stories; I had a good time reading them.

There were a few improvements I thought might help: Can you liven
up your site with a few graphics? Nothing overwhelming, but maybe
make a gif of your pics of the book, pencil and mouse running down
alongside your stories? 

Why is your site best viewed with Netscape 3.0 or above? I even
looked at on an old Quarterdeck Mosaic Browser 2.03 and it looked
just fine. I would lose the Netscape logo - really.

No links to any of your pages on any other pages, except for menu
pages. Invite people to stay within your site as they are already
clicking and leaving it innumerable times. 

Also at the bottom of the stories I would have links to the next
and the previous stories.

There were several broken links, but it was also raining here and
sometimes my phone line gets wet and I can't access web sites as
easily as I can when the weather is dry.

I think that on when reading stories on the computer the paragraph
tags make reading much easier, even though it seems so unlike a
book or magazine. I would replace some break tags with paragraph
tags on "A Strange Adventure", and add a couple of paragraph tags
on the Alligator story.

I would also table the stories to the same percentage so that they
look more uniform.
