Hello all,

Please check the text-only portion of my personal homepage (4

main site http://www.angelfire.com/ma/mrsfate/   
I am mostly interested in accessibility issues as I am in the agi
group.

The text-only pages pass WC3 validation for HTML 3.2, and all pages
should pass muster for CAST Bobby although I was unable to check
some.

The main site doesn't validate but will by my next update, when I
will be classifying diversions by accessibility and necessary
plug-ins. Ideally, I won't need a text-only portion after I'm done.

I have a new background that has not been uploaded yet. It has
clouds along the left and white on the right - 1280 pixels wide -
does  anyone uses screen resolutions wider than that? I can make it
wider if needed! Note - I made the clouds with CorelDraw 3, hardly
the latest in graphics software!

I will answer a couple of questions that may come up - I haven't
specified font styles because it isn't visually important here. I
add a story only about every 2 months, and will be adding
diversions, etc. in the opposite months. I will be adding a few
photos and/or graphics to the main site, but I am trying to keep
the file size of my site small in order to not have the Angelfire
pop-up advertising box, which could be activated at anything over
200,000 kb. I am not very expert in meta tags and do not have them
on most of the pages yet.

Here are my questions: How does the background color look in the
text-only pages? What suggestions do you have for making the main
site pass accessibility reccomendations? How does it look on
Netscape, Opera, etc.? (I have MSIE 3.02, an old Mosaic browser,
and access to a computer with AOL.) 

And, if you have time - I know this is not really an accessibility
question - but I noticed on one computer that the photos were very
dark; are they ok on your computer or should I consider lightening
them?

No need to worry about links to outside sites as I check them
regularly, and I am not concerned with load times as these pages
are small and the only time they take long is when there are
problems beyond my control. 

Sorry for the length of this message, and thanks in advance for any
help and suggestions.
