I think the site stands well on its own without the splash
page. If you want, you could move the words from the
splash page to the main page. Then people would have the
navigation links from the beginning.

Titles at the tops of pages. I would put them on every
page. And they look cool enough without being chopped off
(if that is supposed to be cool...).

The navigation side bar. The effect is cool, though the
shapes onMouseover don't match the fluidness of the rest
of the site. The biggest problem I have is the colors.
Ungh. try echoing the silver in the title images and the
blue in the background image. And having that solid bar of
color over there doesn't fit with the ethereal quality of
the background image. Is this nav bar really supposed to
go here?

The background image doesn't show up on most resolutions.
Then again, the title images don't fit on 640x480. Its
your choice, how wide of an audience do you want to serve?
But I would make the background image viewable on 800x600
anyways. I use 1280x1024, but rarely have browser windows
wider than 800x600. Try not to inconvienience me, ok?

Overall, this is an above-average site. The only other
suggestion for you is to work towards HTML4.0
compatibility. Add Cascading Style Sheets to your pile of
stuff to learn. I think your site already benefits from
the font size changes and stuff, but CSS gives you so much
more control and power, while being a technology that will
be more and more widely used.
