Nice choice of colours for the text and bg. The button colours (and the
text link colour) clash horribly though. Plain text in nice colours would
look better, if you can't get the image colours changed. The alt text does
not need to include "click here for..." - it's quite obvious what they're
for.

Because of the nasty geocities banner, the title of the site is pushed
right down. I would put the title and the photo on the same level by
putting them into a two-cell table (vertically aligned to the middle) with
the the photo on the left (aligned to the right) and the heading on the
right (aligned to the left).

It looks as though you've put the buttons and copy into 2 separate tables
- they should be in two different cells of the same table.

The footer (crest, counter, etc) should be aligned to the middle of the
whole page, not just the column with the copy. Do this by taking it out of
the table completely, or add colspan=2 to the td tag.

Finally, change the default font to something nicer than TNR - perhaps
verdana,helvetica,arial.

Regimental History - don't put live links to incomplete sections!
Photo Gallery - at a lowish resolution the photos overlap the nav buttons.

Very nice, a lot of potential. Much of this applies to your first URL too.
