Union Site Critique

Howdy,

Being new to Javascript I have taken some scripts
from certain websites (they were free to take) and
incorporated them into a site I would like to put up,
however some of the people who are looking at the
site say they are receiving javascript errs, where I
have had no errors with IE or Netscape.

Do I need to get a book and do some reading.  I am
sure the scripts are all in the wrong areas, however
this is where the scripts were when I found some of
them.

Please advise, be honest and kind.

Any other advise is helpful as well
