Hi Bob,

- The first page says "We moved.....But don't worry, You'll be at the new
page in less than 2 seconds!" - I hope you're not gpoing to advertise this
URL, cos this isn't the best first impression. Also you need to include a
link cos not all browsers support the meta refresh.

- The home page is neat and clean and quite attractive, but perhaps a
little overwhelmingly baby-blue. I didn't notice how long it took to
download cos I was doing other things at the same time.

- "* Web Book of California Businesses *" - not sure why the asterisks are
included, they seem superfluous.

- I think there's too much text on the home page, most of it too small to
read easily. The instructions on how to use the service won't be needed on
every visit to the site (not more than once unless your site is terribly
confusing) and most people aren't interested in mission statements.

- "a combination of two or more selections" - why not just one?

- It seems you are trying to attract both businesses and consumers -
perhaps make it easier to distinguish what info is for which type of
visitor, even to the extent of having a link to a separate info page for
businesses.

No time to look any further, HTH. Nice job though, looks professional -
well done!
