I'm going to be critical, because you are presenting yourself as a
professional designer.

Splash screen:
- I don't generally agree with the use of splash screens, but this one at
least loads quickly, so it's not too bad.
- The animation happened so quickly that I missed it the first time
around.
- "This site best viewed at a minimum of 16-bit "high" color." - nobody
will be viewing your site with 256 colours unless they have no other
choice. I would remove this.

Next page:
- "Please excuse any inactive links as we are in the process of
redesigning..." - I think it's more professional to leave up the old site
until the new one is ready. And in fact a fully-functional site lies
behind this page, so...?
- "this should be completed within the next 5-7 days" - without a date,
this is somewhat meaningless...
- Why would you want to provide a link to the splash screen?
- Why don't you offer your clients hosting on your own site? Having dinky
clients that insist on free hosting unfortunately also makes you look a
bit dinky. Having to apologise in advance for the poor experience one can
expect cannot be good for business...

This is what I expected to see up front...

- Very nice and neat - professional looking. Maybe a little more colour?
Although rather too little than too much.
- I would make the logo in the top frame smaller - it's hogging too much
of the screen.
- I would expect to see more actual work - the digital art section has no
examples and your portfolio has only 4 items, one of them your personal
site.
- Why is the logo repeated at the bottom of the white frames? The logo is
already *very* visible, you don't need a link to the splash screen, and
it's obviously meant to go on a black bg.

Finally, I found the Restrictions page a little... odd... don't get me
wrong, I have NO problem with your refusal to take on certain jobs.
However your lengthy list of no-nos could put potential clients off, even
those you would be prepared to work with, and as you say, "there are
plenty of other design and site management groups out there". I personally
would not go to the trouble of contacting you if I thought you might
refuse to build my site. I suggest that you remove this page and instead
forward these unwanted jobs on to someone else. You're not likely to get
many requests from beer-swigging nazis anyway ;)

Overall, you've done a great job - well done. You're one of the few small
outfits I would actually consider hiring.

No time to look at the other sites I'm afraid.
