Hi there;

I can't provide a technical critique because I don't have the knowledge -
yet.  But, as a viewer - I found the site very easy to navigate.  I thought
the table site map was very well done, and I liked having the pages open in
a new window so that I could just click 'close' and be back at the table.
Everything loaded quickly and looked fine on IE (800x600)

Personally, I prefer light coloured backgrounds - but I found that the white
text wasn't too hard on the eyes.  Maybe in the future you might want to add
pdf files of the newspaper/magazine articles for viewers to read.
