I have been lurking for a while and finally got up my nerve to ask for a
site critique. Please be gentle yet firm. We have a religious site. I need
to know if other people can even see it or navigate and all the other things
that A web page is supposed to do. It is located at.

Hi Sylvia,

I visited using a WIN 95, NS 4.0, 17", Millions of Colors, 800 X 600, 56kbps.
When I first hit your page there was text and then it blanked with nothing
but the background. Most likely problems with your dynamic content/code. I
moved my mouse till I found links. Once inside things were visible. On the
"Who we are" page your image grape wine.gif was not visible. The bottom
half uses a lot of bold text, you might want to tone it down a bit. On the
written.html your links are left aligned making them difficult to read over
the background image. BTW-when listing an address you'll probably want to
use lowercase 'http' as browsers that are compliant with HTTP protocol
will not be able to find an address starting with 'HTTP' (old Mosaic for
example).

I do like the background and found the text easy to read on it. A few touch
ups and it will be looking good.

Good luck with your mission.

Sincerely,
Michael D. Ricker
