Hello,

When I started to use netscape as an index to my Bach MIDI files, I ended
up as a newbie on webdesign building a site on the J.S. Bach Works Catalog,
and this is what I learned since april 1998.

Would you please take a look, and tell me how to continue my developments.

I really tried to be friendly to as many browsers as possible, old and new,
css style and not, and so on.

Frames: I think I need them, but provided ways to browse without. Now I'm
thinking on esacpe-from-frames on many pages. What kind of icon would one
use, jail, lock, zoom, bomb, smiley?

The pages on the main chapters are way too large, I know, see chapter 9 for
how it should be in the future, when my sitesearch is ok.

The homepage http://members.xoom.com/bachmidi/bachmidi.html takes a long
time to load. What do you think I should put on a seperate page?

What to think about an entry (click here to enter) page? Is that usefull
when many visitors enter directly on underlying pages?

Please no comments on HTML validation, I do that after every change, but
sometimes it takes a day to correct an error.

Bobby hates me. Do you too ?

Thanks,
Paul de Vries.
