Critique Request: http://www.hmc.edu/

Hi folks, in my day job I'm the web administrator for Harvey
Mudd College.  We're examining our website now, with eye to
a possible redesign, and I'd like some feedback on the existing
site.

The site is:  http://www.hmc.edu/

Specifically I'd like comments on the usability, the layout,
the graphics, the coding, the animation, the accessibility, the
overall look, the organization, navigation, and content.  Primarily
I just need the "front page" critiqued; I'll be getting to lower
pages soon enough.
