Mozilla 1.5a+, Windows 2K SP3, 1600x1200 (browser set to ~1000x1000), 
LAN connction.

The site loaded fast and is attractive.  I don't think that it's 
plain at all, actually.  The bold colours work well, and the colour 
scheme is nice and complements the subject.

You have several elements in your navbar that are repeated which I'm 
not sure is a good idea, and the bar itself doesn't work at all with 
Javascript disabled.  You should have some alternative in place for 
browsers that don't have Javascript (or at least a <noscript> tag 
saying that JS needs to be enabled).

I'm not keen on submenus with only one entry in them (eg Contact and 
Events), but I can appreciate that it can be difficult to alter this. 
 Also, the sitemap link is broken.

Overall a nice site and pleasing to the eye.  (I'm still trying to 
figure out why it seems to block the middle mouse button that I use 
for mouse gestures and will get back to you on that :)  ).
